BACK INTO FOOTBALL
We’re back again to bring you a fortnight of footballing fun, with more activities, more lesson plans, more games, and more equipment to giveaway.
By registering, you’ll get a detailed set of footballing activities to keep your students fit and healthy, and introduce football to those students who may not usually engage with the sport. Each activity will come with instructions and a video guide on how to setup, run and differentiate to suit the needs of your students.
We’ll also have a range of classroom activities, designed to fit in with the school curriculum and include elements of core subjects alongside the underlaying football theme. in addition, there will be extra fun activities and games to keep your students busy.
This year we are also introducing an assembly video you can show your staff and students to explain what Monster Kickabout is, and how they can get involved over the 2 weeks.
Finally, we will be giving away free football packs containing Nike footballs, Monster Kickabout bibs and printed resources to 3000 randomly selected schools who register before 18th October 2024.

What is Monster Kickabout?
Monster Kickabout is a nationwide school football initiative from Sports Direct and Nike, created to encourage more kids to take up football, with free resources and football equipment provided football fun.
When does the Monster Kickabout event start?
Monster Kickabout 2024 starts on the 4th November 2024, and runs for two weeks until 15th November 2024, however the activities can be extended across the rest of the school term.
How do I Register
What if I haven’t received a confirmation email?
Please check your junk folders and to avoid this for future communications please add our email address info@monsterkickabout.com to your safe sender list. We would also recommend signing up for SMS notifications here to avoid missing important information.
Can multiple teachers sign up from one school?
Yes, however a school can only ever be eligible for one set of any free equipment packs. As many teachers as you like can create an account and register for the event, getting access to all the free downloads and digital resources.
What will you get if you sign up?
3000 schools (drawn at random) that sign up will receive a monster kit pack containing free football equipment. Every school will also receive a full set of digital lesson plans to help your school host an epic couple of weeks of football fun! There will also be opportunities to win school visits and other prizes through spot competitions.
Can I share our Monster Kickabout efforts on Social Media?
Of course, we’d love to see all your monster efforts. Simply tag your posts with #MonsterKickabout or mention us on Instagram, X (Twitter) or Facebook.
How do you know if you’re one of the 3000 schools to receive a pack?
We will email all schools that selected on 21st October 2024. If you were successful, this email will also contain information on when you will receive your kit packs.
What if you’re not one of the 3000 schools?
If you’re not part of the first 3000 schools to sign up then do not fear, you’ll still receive all the resources and lesson plans you need to host a Monster Kickabout week to remember!
Am I eligible for a free equipment pack?
Any school in the UK is eligible for a free equipment pack. If you are not a UK school, you can still sign up to the event and receive the free resources to take part in Monster Kickabout, but you will not be eligible for a free equipment pack.
If multiple entries for a single school are received, the first entry date will be used. A school will only be eligible to receive one pack. All packs are allocated to the school and not the individual, and will always be sent to the school address.
